Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20th that honours the memory of the trans lives lost to acts of transphobia and discrimination.
On November 20, we hold a day of gathering, togetherness, and community solidarity.
We remember those we've lost, celebrate our strength in the face of adversity, and commit to fighting transphobia to create a better, safer, and more inclusive world for us all.
The Vigil
Each year we observe Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), a time for community solidarity and remembrance. We come together to honour the lives of those we have lost to anti-trans violence and discrimination.
The vigil runs officially from 7:30pm, with speakers starting at 7:45pm. The Story Bridge is lit up in Trans colours to commemorate TDoR.
